![]() ![]() The binding is unshaken (as the book was printed on heavy quality paper, many copies are now split or shaken). The pages are nice and clean, with only minimal edge creasing and no tears. Internally the book is also very good, with just a neat ownership name in ink to the top of the half title page - no other annotations. No bumps or tears - just some light wear at the top and tail of the spine. The gilt is still beautifully bright, especially the illustrations on the boards. ![]() The boards are quite clean but there are some damp marks and fading to the fore-edges of the boards. ***Very good in blue cloth-covered boards, with gilt titles to the spine and gilt illustrations to the front and back boards. Illustrated throughout with the delightful line drawings by Ernest H. There was also a signed limited edition of 100 copies. ![]() The first trade edition was published on November 6th, 1924. A fourteenth printing of the true first trade edition of "When We Were Very Young", published in 1926. Dust Jacket Condition: No Jacket, as Issued. ![]()
